The Intersection of Data and Community Health: A New Paradigm

With public health, data has become important to understanding and improving community well-being. I learn with County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R), a program of the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute at the School of Medicine and Public Health, how with comparing health outcomes across counties, CHR&R aims to foster a deep understanding of the disparities and commonalities in the nation to evaluate best roadmaps to a healthier, more equitable society with values of collaboration, innovation, integrity, courage and inclusion. A first step is to share successes with lessons learned, then offer resources, next build knowledge with listening to understand multiple perspectives.
